where do the finished mp4's end up?
Twice I've converted movies, twice I've watched it finish then disapear to nowhere, not even search can find them!
Edit found them, moves out of my documents into the handbreak folder....
edit2: One has both a file and a mp4 file, the other I've done has just a file, no media copy of it. Any idea what I've done wrong?
edit 3: just added .mp4 at the end and it sorted it.
One thing I want to know is when using handbrake how do I know which chapter is the actual movie? It's always just selected the longest one, but one thought I had was maybe the longest "film" could be a making of documentary.
Latest one was empire strikes back, which gave a run time for 02:07:21, but googling gives a run time of 124mins. But handbrake also has this option (02:04:55), but as far as I know the BR does not include the originial copy of.
Hobbo with a shotgun also gave huge time variances, difference between the longest films where 20minutes, in the end chose the one that matched google's run time.
edit 4: Hobbo with a shotgun, which encoded in as an mp4 but shows as .m4v file when right clicking doesnt play on the TP, while ESB (showing as .mp4- the one I had to add the extension too) does play. Any idea why this all like this? Is it due to not changing the ipad settings? Going to try a short movie this time, see what happens.
