I've got the Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB would that be sufficient for BluRay playback and gaming on the Dell S2409W 24" Widescreen True HD LCD Monitor?
 
The card has hardware support for HD acceleration and hdcp support as well so will happily play Blu Ray movies at 1080P. In fact a lot of slower cards will run HD without any problems. You will need a Media player that supports the playback of Bluray titles.

are u going to game much on it? because u could just get a 4850 which would do the job fine and u can still game.. im running one with a hd/bluray rewriter drive and the play back runs fine.
