theres a bit of snow missing off the bumper, but it hasn't hit it - i was stood underneath it looking up!

Oh, I see what you mean. Snow fairly clogs up lorries so that makes sense. Close one then!

Nasty. I gather the lorry driver was forced down that hill by a 4x4 driver though.

The BMW's are safer on the back of that wagon than on the road. They're hopeless in this weather and for most of the people that drive them, they have no idea they are RWD until the back end comes out on a snowy hill.

I do, and you're right. Owning a BMW when it snows makes you an even bigger t0sser. I cant believe I bought a BMW as a winter car, what a n00b.

I know that road, it's just off west street. The road leading to it (perpendicular to west street) is quite flat so if he came from that direction he might not have realised till it was too late.

That's what I call a Fail.

Sorry - It had to be done:

lol no

there is a BMW dealership round the corner, and they store the cars in a garage over the road from me - the transporter comes down here around once a week.

they've moved it now, closed the road and hoisted it back up using a big recovery truck.
