bmw nav

What BMW model do you have and what firmware sat nav do you have!?

The thing is, the Camera Partnership database changes daily. Any CD would have to be repeatedly updated!
 
i have a 3 series 2005 year (sept) how do i find out what firmware sat nav it is?

im mostly interested in cameras in london
&/or
a way of actually making the cds, i read somewhere that some guy in sweden made one or something so it must be possible!

or is there something else i should get..i like everything neat and integrated thats why i got bmw nav (won't in next car though i dont htink!)
 
Not as far as I know as the integrated nav systems don't have a user accessable flash area to store the data.

I guess you could modify the normal nav CD to display cameras as POIs but this would be a lot of hassle.
 
Didnt the early tomtoms only show cameras as POI's?. Suppose the difficulty comes in finding a disk which incorperates these.
