Bobcats

They look simular don't they? I have a Maine ****. It's huge(although not as big as it's mother) :D

The size, large paws and the little black tufts on the tip of their ears is what stood out to me.

I'd love a Maine **** cat.

Ah xkcd, you make the world a better place.

Youtube hopping lead me to this:

A hissing domestic shorthair is one thing, a snarling incensed cat of the wilds going ape in the house... hmm... I'll stick with the domestic. :)

You'd have to have an entire enclosure built for it in your garden and it would cost you a fortune in food, vet bills etc. Plus it would most likely rip your face off if you got too close.

Just get one and claim you thought it was a tabby.

Pet Bear:

Vastly superior. Wont be no Mormons knocking on your door again. You could also ride it to work.

I love bears, sweet animals.

Are you aware of the size (and therefore strength and weight) difference between one of these and a tiger?

Are you aware of the fact that by definition a pet is a domesticated animal and therefore a bobcat would not make a suitable pet? Just because it is relatively safe doesn't mean it should be treated as a pet.
