Received a free set of £180 WITHINGS Body Comp scales from Samsung today due to my qualifying purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Ultra Watch last month. As I mentioned earlier I've already got a set of £20 Renpho scales.
I find the Renpho app is easier to read, the results are all on one page whereas with the WITHINGS app it just gives you an overview and you have to delve into each section to get further info.
Here's what I mean...
WITHINGS app...
Renpho app...
The only thing the WITHINGS scales measure which the Renpho doesn't is heart rate. I'll guess I'll get used to it but am not sure why the WITHINGS scales cost so much more.
Here's a photo of the two scales. The Renpho seems to measure everything the expensive Withings scales does apart from heart rate. The Withings is a little bigger with a colour display. The Renpho app is decent enough although the Withings app isn't too bad now that I've got used to it.
Would I recommend paying more for the Withings? No. The Renpho scales are great value for money.
I got the Renpho ones for my mrs for Christmas based off your previous comments in the thread, so thanks for the update. If she hits me with them Christmas morning I can only presume it’s because she really wanted the Withings ones.
