Bodybuilders?/ Weight Training

It's just a dungeon of a place, with a huge mat, some punch bags, etc and loads of weights at one end. As I said it's just what they use for the ultimate fighters/ wrestlers to train in, it's not a business and open to the public or anything.

Ahh i see. Had a feeling it would be a bit of a "no nonsense" place. I envy your position at having found somewhere like that.

Thanks for you help, i get the problems with eating, always busy with work and my daughter and things, i keep trying hard now but i end up eating hardly anything in the mornings and loads afta 6pm when i get home from work, and i kno its no good cuz my bodys needing food all morning, i'm gonna try harder, preperation i guess, my arms are soar 2day, so until they heal i'm resting :)

Why would a beginner want to start out eating 300-400g of protein a day? That's ludicrous, not to mention a furious waste of money.
I'm speaking of not going more than 2 hours without "some" protein intake. So, if the poster eats 4-5 small quality meals per day and supplements with protein, that's not going to be 400gms and it's also not a waste. As you can easily read, those were generalizations.

A lean body/ectomorph/hardgainer (pick your term) has to battle different needs than other body types. So, ideally, they will take in 1gm of protein per pound of body weight daily. On training days or during a week of training it is a good idea to eat as much as 1.5gms per lb. This can be had through meals or supplementation. Again, 1 key is to not go more than 2 hours on recovery days without "some" protein intake.
