What sort of bone structure do you guys have? I have noticed that despite the fact I am quite a lot bigger than my other friends who lift, I don't really look it because I have big bones.

It's hard to explain, but one of my friends in particular has really small wrists and knees, so his forearms / thighs look huge. Mine are larger, but certainly don't look it at first glance.

Has anyone here found the same thing?

My bone structure is quite small, but my genetics seem to be good, am developing a good chest and wide ish shoulders for a skinny blok my wrists and bottom of legs is laughable!! Im 12 stone and 6foot now.

people dont believe im the weight i am, until i step on some scales or someone starts measuring me.

dont have a tape measure on me, but for those with a sky+ control, my wrist is wider than the widest part and about just over 2x as deep as the control is.
if i put the end of the control side on to my wrist, then wrap it around, it doesnt go all the way around. about 1.5-2cm more needed, so if someone wants to measure the length of a sky+ control then add 1.5cm, it will be close i think!

My shoulders and chest are broader than most I think, and my leg muscles have always been pretty developed. I remember swimming back when I was about 10 and burning off everyone else using just legs. Yeah, I'm cool.

Your wrists must be huge! That would be larger than mine I would have thought, no Sky control around to measure though.

Do you ever have trouble finding watches / jewellery that fit?

dont do jewellery or watches mainly down to the size and the need for extra links (adds silly cost :/ ). I cant afford a decent large watch that wont look small :/

dont think they are 9" around tho

I'm 5ft6 and about average bone structure I guess..just got the wife's tape measure out and my wrists are exactly 7.5in.Not really sure how that stacks up tbh but I understand there's a formula about somewhere that calculates your mass potential by your wrist size.

Found it here if anyone wants a go..not sure how accurate it is though :D
Just a bit of fun I guess :)

interesting, need to measure my wrist properly then :D

There is a test to see what type of skeletal structure you have:

Grab your wrist with your thumb and forefinger with your other hand. If you cannot touch the ends of your fingers together you have a large frame, just touching is medium and if there is a gap then you would be considered to have a lighter type of skeleton.

You could just have little Jeremy Beadle hands though. :p
