£4.99 from morrisons ! or M&S sell them for £20. I got a cheap one coz the last one i had it died rather quickly.

This is a better picture of what it looks like, very good for £5 i think.

Anyone know what tree it is? The lable didn't say, or if it did i thrown it away long ago. I wanna know so i can find out how often i need to prune the roots.

I've had three over the years and all of them have died, although I might give it another go soon and be better prepared this time.

Been thinking of getting one for a lil while now...definately a must now...Shame my morrisons dont do them otherwise I would have snapped one up an age ago...anywhere else sell them?

M&S does them, but they are £20 each.

I've learn to water them, don't put water in from the top, but soak the whole pot in some water up to the edge of the plant pot for 5 minutes, and put plant feed in the water that you soak in every 2 weeks.

here's one of mine :)
(sorry about the rubbish image quality, it was taken on mine phone and the 360 controller is there for scale)

Thats huge !

How long have you had it? and what care do you need to take care of yours? in terms of watering and roof pruning.

Well I've had this a little while (few month's) it need's to be watered daily currently and it needs trimming about once a week, not too sure what happens when winter comes

I thought the whole point of the bonsai was the small factor?

Maybe its just me, but im not a fan of the bigger looking tree...I prefer Raymonds small one (tree!)

The way to keep the tree small is the small pot it is in, because the roots can't grow, you are technically "stunned" it growth. Bonsai tress can and will be big trees if you plant it in the garden and its roots will grow normally. fieldy's tree is in a bigger pot, hence bigger.
