I think he was spyware but I think it could be a sort of microsoft sam where you could type and it would say it out in a chimp voice

I loved that little thing. He was my first experience with text-to-speech. Spent hours with that little monkey. Shame he was a virus.

Yeah I remember Bonzai Buddy. Same era as Gator, Imesh, Comet Cursor, WhenUSave, Hotbar, Cool Web Search, Newdotnet... and so on.

Is it just me, or is it a trend that you don't hear as much about spyware nowadays?

Who remembers Go!Zilla? Used it on dial-up, the roar sound when you fired it up.

So many old bits of software, some of it trash but it's nostalgic nonetheless!

Go!Zilla was awesome. Couldn't have survived without it. Dial up in India where my download speed of 6 kB/s was better than most and constant disconnections made it a must have.
