I’m fascinated y these things! I have decided to get one and just wondered if anyone else has one or has had one in the past, and where to buy, are there any large national retailers or stores that will sell these?

Cheers Jim

I wouldn't mind getting one either :)

yeah thanks for the google link, already spent time on there, just asking people for direct info from first hand experience, obviously if I wanted to know what 'Bonzi Tree' was I would type that into Google... but thanks anyway

I’m hoping people say where to buy them from or I have “so and so” and it’s good blah blah

This was mine, lasted 3 months and it died. I dunno what i did wrong, I watered it, feed it, plenty of light. But the yellow leaves came and more came and all of it fell off !

Otherwise, the only store i've come across that sells them is in Bluewater shopping centre.

thanks mate, i might get one of those for my desk at work, just to get me started :)

Bluewater has a shop called Bonsai, or Natural World sell them.

I got mine in homebase for a tenner :)

bluewater could be a place to go then, thanks too :)

I have one. Its a bloody nightmare.

They have to be one of the hardest plants to look after. You need to complete bath it every other day. Doesn't like direct light, you can't use plant food on it etc...

mines well and trully died. I still water it in the vain hope it will come back, but to be honest I'm only watering a twig in some mud now :(

I paid £5.99 from a Morrisons, all supermarkets have them now and again, even M&S. It died about a month ago, I got in back in Mid june.

everyones died

i thought these buggers go on for years (with care) so am i right in saying if you buy a 30 year old one it will have more chance of living?
