I could do with some books for reference and to learn from in PHP, CSS & SQL can anyone recommend any?

I know you can get all the info you want from the web but its just nice to flick through a book for info. :)

Build Your Own Database Driven Website Using PHP and MySQL

I've found this one extremely useful for PHP & MySQL stuff, along with all the code it shows you how to build a website with a login area which is completey manageable by a content management system. There isn't any info on uploading images though which I thought was annoying, and is what i'm trying to figure out now, but apart from that it pretty much covers everything you'll need to know and gives you the knowledge to write even more onto the code provided.

I've actually just taken delivery of the ASP.NET equivalent from the same publisher, SitePoint :)

As for CSS i've never really bothered with any books, you can learn everything from W3 Schools and other sites with css listings.

That book sounds interesting, like you say shame it does not cover image upload as thats one of the features I want to integreate into my site aswel.

Yeah, i'm going to start integrating images into one of my sites at the weekend, it doesn't look to hard though, the book certainly gives you the confidence to extend your knowledge once you've finished it.
