Hey all thinking of booking mod 2 soon but it is a minefield as to which test I need to book to complete my A2 license this year. The list is as follows:

Light bike M2 (pre 2013)
Standard bike M2 (pre 2013)
Big bike M2 (pre 2013)
Light bike M2
Standard Bike M2
Big Bike M2

Now I guess I disregard all those that are not 2013. But which test do I need to sit to complete my restricted A2 license this year? Standard? Light? I'll be taking it on my 125cc bike.

Sorry I can't help - but just looking at that list it's no wonder you are confused. These must be the new laws coming in?

I swear the government is trying to stop new riders from gaining a bike license. ******'s!

Id have to agree Macky, i was just about to post saying the same thing.

Light = stuck on a 125
Standard = take on a 125 but restricted to 33bhp for 2 years
Big = 500cc minimum (Basically DAS)

And deffinatly the pre 2013 one for sure, think we all agree on that one lol.

I also passed yesterday. Very relieved as if I never passed before January I'd have been waiting another year to sit it again and that'd mean not riding my bike for a year and I'd have probably sold it.

Due to the weather, I've sorted it and will tax and insure it come the good weather.

Looking forward to riding my own bike for the first time.

Bit of an update. Bought it for £750 (2000 reg). Will need a bit of repairing though as the exhaust is blowing at the manifold and is very loud, so could be quite a costly job. Still a bargain though as everything else is spot on and it has some extras like renthal bars, tail tidy and tiny indicators.

Nice one, get one eBay, second hand downpipes should not be too costly, will need some gaskets though.
