Boomer gaming PC advice

bear in mind that the 58003d will only work in an AM4 socket
I'd defiinitely go down the 58003d route at only £135 though, that is a no-brainer, but yes, you could reuse a psu if you got one now, but with the cpu, gpu and psu upgrade you will be sorted for ages , the 58003d can even run a 4090 with no bottleneck!
Had a quick look and can't find them for even double that, but 5700x3D at around that.. that's the way I'd go.

And new PSU, 7800xt and possibly faster ram/storage

Edit: Or 12700/12900k(/f) is good value if wanting a shiny new setup...but I'd still go 5700x3D, especially with an existing compatible mobo

all, that I am allowed to say is "elsewhere", when I looked elsewhere they were up for £135, maybe it was on a daily special offer idk, snooze/lose
5700x3D is currently up for £180, even that is £30 cheaper than ocuk
probably worth checking elsewhere every day to see if the 58003d or the 5700x3D is on offer again,

Yeah I just had a quick search... 57 easily available for that or less and tbf is not that much slower... if you get the 58 for that then more power to you :)
I'm not particularly in the market for one anyway
