Boost Clock

Hi guys,

I recently purchased this bad boy:

The GeForce 970 with the following spec:

Core Clock: 1178MHz, Boost Clock: 1329MHz, Memory: 4096MB 7010MHz

I'm just wondering if I have to do anything to turn on this boost clock? I've checked the manual and there's no extra software that I can see. Any ideas? As I'm sure I'm just being a noob.

No need to do anything, it should automatically boost in 3D applications games etc.

You can use MSI Afterburner to see where it's boosting to if you want.

And expect it to boost higher than the stated boost clock as the given value is a worst case scenario.
