Boost wireless coverage?

Hi all,

Are there any wireless boosters which use an Ethernet as the source, and boost the wireless from that?

I tried a Netgear plug which connected to existing Wifi but didn't actually improve speeds/signal at all, so I sent it back.

Does such a device exist? or do they all use your existing WiFi and try to boost from that?

Also, I'm getting 30mb instead of 70mb that I get with Wired... that's on an iPad and iPhone 6 - I've got a Sky router (fibre pro), could anyone recommend potentially a cheap ish upgrade for that too?

Yep its called a wireless access point.

Bought a netgear one and it didn't work :/ I need one which uses an ethernet to drive to Wifi - does that exist?

Yes. A wireless access point. If by "uses ethernet to drive wifi" do you mean that you want something PoE to power it?

I use a secondary router as an access point, as long you set it up correctly there shouldn't be a problem.
