Boot camp on USB hard drive?

Hello all

I currently use parallels on my macbook but today I have a 250gb hard drive being delivered and I would like to know if its possible to install bootcamp and windows onto the external USB hard drive?

Anyhelp on this would be great!

Sadly, I think not. Boot Camp needs to create a partition on the start up disk.

If you format the USB drive with Disk Utility and create a GPT (GUID partition table) then it should be bootable by the Mac. I don't think Windows XP - certainly not Vista - will install to a removable device though.
