Basically I can't boot my XP machine unless the boot choice is the dvd drive with the bootable windows disk in it. As when I select boot from hard drive I get the boot disk error, insert system disk.... etc.
The bit that confuses me, is when I select the boot from dvd rom; the drives spins up (reading the disk), then moves on and loads from the hard drive like normal wtf!?!?
Is there a way I can edit the MBR or something like that to fix it and if so how?
