I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice about my boot issue. Any help is much appreciated.
I built my comp from the help given on this forum (a million thanks, its awesome
) and it ran fine on a Dell screen I was borrowing from work, but then when I hooked up my new Asus VH222H, the system almost always fails to boot on the first attempt
Most of the time it all seems like its booting normally, except there's no display. I have waited for a while and never heard the windows 7 startup sound tho, so I'm not entirely sure it is booting normally. I then have to hold the power button to turn it off and on, and most times it boots up fine the second time, with the 'windows failed to start' message. I've tried running their standard startup repair, to no success.
