Boot issues

ive got my self a nice new pc
Asus p8p67 pro mobo
intel i5 sandybridge 2500k
OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive
coisair 750w PSU
radeon hd 6950 GFX card
HAF X case
so basicly my issue is this 9-10 times when i try to boot my pc it takes me normally about 15mins to boot it it just doesn't seem to want to load up, ive checked connections over and over and at first the bios was playing up and resetting to boot from CD first, this has now stopped but ive got no idea what else could be the issue, the only thing thats been "clocked" is the GFX, the CPU when it is running hits 60oc quite a lot but i know thats a heat sink issue that intel seem to have with a lot of fans, so im wondering if that could be an issue or not?

Did you buy the parts seperately or as a unit? Either which i would contact the vendor. I'm suspecting it's the Asus mobo

Tried clearing CMOS to clear any duff settings in the BIOS? Best way is take the battery out for five minutes and switch the psu off - sometimes the jumper option doesn't clear everything...

Nice simple fix if it works

15 minutes is a extremely long time especially when you have an very fast OCZ Vertex 2E SSD.

When the system boots up, does it hang anywhere in particular i.e. during bios, windows welcome screen etc.

Have you tried enabling quick boot-up in your bios where the motherboard just does a quick check of your components instead of a thorough one?
