Boot loop after coming out of sleep

I still can't find any reason why it wont work, I can't get it to work still, I've reset CMOS, I can't press F8. As it doesn't even get to the POST before it dies and restarts and goes in a loop, I get no display from my PC too. This is getting a pain in the ass, as I do not know if it is my motherboard that is broken, which it this was to be the case I don't know if I could RMA it as it was a b-grade one.

How can I clear it so my PC doesn't think it's in sleep mode?

When did you buy it? Did you buy it seperately? Is it covered by warranty?
Have you asked OcUK?

Have you considered these? I'm not sure they would give you the specific problem that you have right now, but if you have spare parts then I suggest you try them.

Maybe you have dead RAM?
PSU fault?
Maybe the heatsink of the CPU has come off and the PC is shutting down prematurely?

Anywho good luck.

I am unsure when I bought it and I bought it with some RAM and a new Heatsink. And I've just asked OcUK if it is in warranty as I don't know.

And I thought there might be a problem with the RAM and my motherboard and possibly it is the RAM causing the issue, but now I've sent a question about if I could RMA my mobo should I send a question in linking to about the RMA and hope they read both.

And the PSU is fine, it was new like a month ago. and the heatsink is very securly in place.

Just RMA the mobo if you can. If you tell them your not sure if it's the mobo, they may refuse your RMA request.

I don't know to be honest, I would have bought a new mobo by now. XD

Ok, I've sent in about the mobo RMA. And well, I would, just I'm 15 and I currently have no money whatsoever so thats kinda a pain for a start. Hopefully they accept my request, I might check the RAM in the PC I'm on now just to check if it is the RAM causing it.

Why would you turn your PC off just for a "thunder warning" anyway? Unless it is a laptop and you were using it outside with a huge copper rod pointing towards the heavens?

can you get into BIOS?

maybe the operating system is messed up. some security guard at work had a similar problem on hes laptop. at the end we just formatted it and reinstalled windows.

if you send the mobo back and there is no fault with the mobo, you will be charged a fee (happened to me).

i thought my mobo died, when it failed to boot, power kept dieing after a few seconds. i changed the psu, g card, hdd swapped around the memory modules.

sent it to oc, and they returned it saying its fine. i put the pc back together and decided to use some other spare ram and the mobo booted up fine.

if you can get into BIOS, you can install windows over windows and it will keep your existing files.

This was during the night, so i probs would be asleep during thunder, also my mum told me to xD and should i try my ram in another pc just to be sure its the mobo?
