Boot Menu OS Options

Hi All

I have a problem in that when i boot up my computer and come up with an OS start system on the boot menu with the choices of booting with either 'Windows XP Professional' or 'Windows' how do i get rid of this as i just want the computer to automatically just boot up XP?

i normally fix this by running the fix boot/fixmbr commands in the xp install setup recovery console

call me a n00b but where is that?
