im using an amd 790fx motherboard with a 750 south bridge, but i just bought a startech pci express raid card which uses jmicron 363 chip.

which one is gona be best for me to use 2 wd velociraptor hdds in raid 0 config?

I would use the first 2 SATA ports of the AMD SB750 cont (which be all accounts is pretty good) for a couple of reasons, firstly, you will not get better performance (for a RAID0 setup) in your reads/writes by using a separate SATA RAID card and secondly, when jmicron chip is implemented as a secondary cont. on a motherboard it is generally really naff, so I doubt if its been better implemented by Startech in their SATA RAID card...
