When i turn on my computer there around a 25-30 second delay. On my monitor it says no signal. Then suddenly it will work fine and boot normally. This is an inconvenience as every bootup takes twice as long.

Anybody got any idea on how id go about fixing it?

Could be that it's having trouble picking up a sata device but yeah try reseting the bios/cmos settings first reconfigure it to boot to the hard drive with the os installed on and see what happens. If that doesn't fix it you might have a faulty sata cable or optical/hard drive you could try unplugging them all and adding them one by one to see which one is causing problems.

I would also remove any usb peripherals to see if any of them are causing the slow down. I've had this with more than one usb device on more than one pc.
