So i'm aware this maybe in the wrong topic but then again it might not!!
The problem:
When i turn on my desktop rig, it boots through bios, loads the windows load screen but never reaches the login page.
After some routing about, I unplugged my two SATA data drives, booted up and windows loads fine. I then can plug them back in and they also work fine.
I ran disk check on all drives, no problems except a few corrupt .jpgs which I already knew about.
Has anyone come across this problem before?
I basically can't boot up if the SATA drives are plugged in, but can plug them in once windows has logged in.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Furnace.
XP Media center SP2, 2.5Ghz Athlon, Asus A7N8X deluxe, 1GB corsair LLT, etc. its about 6 years old!
