Bootable Recovery Software?

Hey all,

Those of you with recovery experience, what bootable software would you recommend? Must support NTFS and also ext4 (Linux FS).

There's so much out there, and just after suggestions. Preferably if the software could also access the LAN to transfer recovered files would be good.

I use http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/index.html from a USB drive and run Parted Magic, you could just run the standalone Parted Magic of course but the UBCD has a ton of ther useful tools that may come in handy.
