ATM Im using USB sticks to boot "Acronis True Image" and Partition magic" but is it possible to put these onto a hard drive and use a boot menu to boot between the 2... I have a spare drive that I can use for this? Also is it possible to have the boot menu on my main windows drive, then it will show the menu before booting windows and I wont need to keep changing the bootable drive? But creating boot menus are not very easy with latest motherboards and stuff nowadays?

I have an ssd set up with all my tools on it
And windows install isos etc
The tools don't all have a separate boot menu though
I used ventoy to do it
It can use usb or fixed disks which is really handy
Means i dont have to remember where i put my flash drives
I just select the ventoy drive to boot from
It lists all the tools and I pick what I want
You just drag and drop isos onto the ventoy drive
Never tried adding the ventoy drive to the boot menu
Though its likely possible
Using something like easybcd free software

I just press f8 on boot
And select my ventoy drive for a one off boot
Which is probably quicker than waiting for windows boot menu
To display anyway

Thanks, Ive tried easybcd but that Wont let me do much with using secure boot and EFI

I have 2 windows installs and macrium bootable rescue
On my windows boot menu/boot choice screen
But pressing f8 (asus board)
Is definitely faster than waiting for the boot menu to appear
Which is why I haven't bothered
There's a ventoy forum which probably has the answer
Ventoy is capable of a lot more than I use it for

A different approach maybe
Make a windows RE with the 2 programs installed on it
I think you could add windows RE to the boot menu
Though if in have done it before
It's one of the many things I have forgotten in my old age
Something like use a partition tool to make a small partition
Too install RE too
And easybcd to add the recovery environment to the boot menu
Would be my guess
