booting from SATA HDD in an Icy Box

hello,

just wondering whether this would be possible or whether it would be too unreliable, please? I'd like to have no hard drives in my actual system and just use a pass through sata data cable connecting the icy box to the mobo. I guess I would leave the icy box on all the time.

yep that would work fine, when connected with SATA it really is just a pass through, the icy box does nothing except provide power. I've done it before, just make sure you dont knock the power off to it
