Can someone give me some idea what the problem might be pls...

Starting the pc up for the 1st time in the morning, it wont go past the memory test, infact doesn't even do that it stops just before it, then i might have to do atleast 2/3 hits on the restart button, or switch power off/on again then its all fine again, also a couple of times i have had to do a reboot from inside win 7 due to something being upgraded, and it might freeze on rebooting at the point the black screen comes up when the coloured windows logo appears...pls help becoming a real pain lately.

Could be a lot of things from PSU, RAM, HDD or maybe a corrupt operating system. First thing I would check is your RAM. Try removing all of your RAM and testing each stick in different DIMM slots to see what happens, this is the easiest and least time consuming process. Could I also get more details on your rig as well, it could help me and others source your problem.
