booting problem

my ssd has my windows installed but for some reason it is no longer showing in my bios and i cant boot into windows can anyone help with this problem iv'e tryed the other sata port i dont know whats going on

what model ssd and motherboard?

could be dead or faulty ssd? esp if its an ocz one

i have a p8z77 v deluxe mb and a ocz agility 3 240gb but i dont think its the ssd was working fine lastnight.

they can just die though

you can try unplugging it from the pc,leave it out for a few hours and then try,it could have entered a frozen state

ive read that other people have had the same problem as me with this same model cause it did keep hiding in my bios then i retarted pc and it showed up again now its just gone lol its only 8 months old kinda annoying really

if I were you id try and get it backed up if you can get the bios to see it again

maybe swap it out for a Samsung drive

any firmware updates for it or motherboard bios updates? that might help

man the power cable fell out lol now i can go put my 780 windforce in haha i got it yesterday and didnt fit because of this problem i dont know how i missed it thanks for the help though bud
