Booting XP without a monitor/mouse/keyboard

Simple problem, one to which I have no answer

I have a PC I wish to use as a file server/download box, to be controlled using VNC, but I don't want to leave the monitor etc plugged in.

Anyone done this, or offer any tips on doing it?

just disable "halt on keyboard error" in your BIOS, it will then boot as per normal into your OS without having keyboard/mouse.
