hi guys
posting from my gf's laptop.
am having problem with my laptop (XP SP2), basically for a while i had dual-boot with XP and Ubuntu, i removed Ubuntu partition and expanded the XP partition to fully size of the hard drive.
it went fine but there were "Booting GRLDR, reseting the boot drive....." message for about 2 second before boot up XP
had a look in the drive C:/, i noticed there is a file called "GRLDR", so i deleted it. rebooted the laptop and got horrible message " BOOTMGR is missing, press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart"
what can i do? how can i fix it? is the MBR borked? I've tried boot up the XP CD to use recovery console but there is NO "R" option to press!!!! using VLK XP CD
HELP????!!!!!!!!?????!!!!!
cheers
