Hey,

I'm watching Borat on Film4 but loads of stuff has been cut out. E.g. "The race of the Jew" was muted over with some foreign language.

Anyone know why? It started at 9pm.

Its because we british are such sensitive people that there would be nationwide anarchy and rioting in the streets if anything remotely close to the edge was shown on tv. In particular anything which might possibly be construed as negative or inflammatory towards the disabled, anyone of another religion or anyone of another race. God bless our modern PC society eh? Aint it just wonderful.

Totally agree, this went over the top, and the jokes weren't funny (A view not shared by many at my school :rolleyes:

Sitting here thinking ah ha the americans can't even take some of this humour then realise channel4/britain won't even show some of it

I thought we could all take a joke but I guess with some of the rescent crap people have *resigned* for on television a lot of britain just can't take a silly joke.

Hmmm.....they leave in the jew house so why take all the rest out. Seriously......
