Steam now tells you the datestamp of the file so you can always pick the latest thankfully.

I almost got suckered into this

But yea, common sense would suggest that using the local would be the latest. I can't remember if it shows dates of the 2 options, but it should!

It was originally like this then they removed it a few months ago, and now put it back.
