Get the cooldown reduction and healing talents for it then it's a useful for a tight situation. But later in the game at around lvl40ish you combine those with the other talents and artifacts so you get your flamewings phaseblast stunning and shock dmg too, then combined with a corrosive artifact you get multiple stunned enemies taking shock, fire and acid damage in one go, in certain situations it's the best power i feel, but that rarely pops up.

okay if you start with the one on top of the mechanics building (red weapons case) jump of head straight across court yard, up a stair case there should be some wood connecting the buildings roofs together follow these and jump over a metal railing and there'll be one on your right(white case). now if you turn around your'll see the town fence with a bit of red canopy jump onto it.
from here u should be able to se a little roof alcove on same building u just jump from covered in another red canopy there a red case here . jump down and get white one the claptrap shows you and the last one is on mayor helenas building can't remember how to get up there of top my head though . hope this helps .

I did that mission last night where you have to get TK's leg and the seeds - used a lot of SMG ammo on the scrags.
Skaggs, spiders, rakk and generally other pesky beasts don't fare well against shotguns. Find yourself a good one and always keep an eye out for a better one.
The reason they don't fare well is because they are dumb and try to mob you and like to fight at close range (because they don't generally have ranged weapons, certainly nothing gun like where they can hit you instantly from range). They might fire the odd projectile, but they are easily avoided.
Shotguns deliver massive close range damage and provided you can find one with at least a 6 round capacity and not too slow reload, you should do well!

Going to create a new character I think tonight. Just need to finish the final missions (on the snowy hill fighting level 50 Arch Guardians by my self!
Been levelling Neil3k up though, if any one else wants to join and soak up the XP you're welcome. You should be getting around 2-4k per kill at least, with the Arch guardians getting around 10k I'd imagine. Minimum level of 35-40 would be needed though, unless you're desperate to level up and we can go Spider hunting

Nope, most of the best weaponry I found was either blue or without a colour. All the orange stuff had fatal flaws, like rifles with small clips or low rate of fire.
Thought all the RPGs were terrible too
Had that one but just couldn't seem to aim it very well! Best one I had I accidently sold, had a zoom and fired 3 rockets at once.
the best weapon ive had at the moment is a Maliwan sniper rifle (purple in rarity) with 350 damage, 97% accuracy and fire rate of 1.0 with a clip size of 6 and 4 x Fire damage
