Borderlands

Just got this game. Is there any point to the single player game or do I just dive in head first to an on-line game? :D
 
I never bothred with the single player game :) I just went straight into MP with friends (private game).

The game comes into it's own once you play with multiple people. I'm afraid to say it's a bit boring on your own imo!
 
Must say this game can be a blast in co-op, sadly something about it just didnt stick with me. Still great game though just not my cup of tea ^^.

I don't know, I started playing with all friends, three of us, but they've not been online the last couple of days so I decided to do some quests single player and I still find it fun and rewarding :)

Up to level twenty now! :D:o

Couple of my friends have ditched me too. I did a couple of missions on my own last night, but it's not the same! :p

A lot of fun moments with 3 or more playing together :) makes the game harder too which is a plus.

Just come back onto forums, Well me and greeny finished the game tonight thou i dont mind helping you with yours when ever your next on? only have 7 more achviemeants to get too
 
Hit level 50 tonight, also hit the max money amount (though it seems to go up!) was taking on level 50 Arch Guardians heading towards the final boss :D

Good fun, need to decide on my next character now as that's nearly the second play through done!
 
man, i love the S&S branded yellow weapons, they don't usually have any elements attached to them but they make up for it in awesome stats! i got a sniper last night that has 400 damage a hit, and 97% accuracy, and a speed of 3, and my S&S shotgun has served me very well, but underpowered now though..:P im only on level 22. just finished all the missions on the fyrestone board.

That Revolver came in REALLY handy last night. Just need to finish with my hunter now! ;)

Windle I sent you an invite last night but I think you were on Fifa10? :rolleyes:

Aye couldn't be bothered mate, had a crap day at work and just wanted to zone out and beat people at Fifa.
 
There seem to be hidden, unexplained skills (or I'm not looking in the right place). On a Class Mod it says +2 Metal Storm skill, +3 Overload skill. What the heck are these? Anyone know?
 
I have just got this - Have a lvl 7 Soldier which I've been playing on my tod - Would be nice if other people could get involved!

Just picked this up today but i don't know when i'll play it, i'm far too into Forza to change disks lol.
