Is this game worth picking up just for the single play aspect?

Yes, it's very good. It's a bit slow starting while you level up a bit but if you played Fallout? you will know how it works.

A bit loathed to go through that story again though....

Bosses sometimes get frustrating when you spend most of it getting flung around or hiding because it can only target you. But generally, the game plays brilliantly on SP.

Spent many hours just on the SP. GOTY if you can pick it up. Everyone should own it!

IMO one of the best games around and i played it on Xbox can only imagine on PC it will be better.

Single players good, 2 player with a friend is better. I found any more then 2 people was a bit of a mess with everyone running off doing their own thing.

Picked up the GOTY edition at Christmas. I've not really played much else since. Recommended, especially with a mate.

Played it on the 360 so the PC version will be sweet.
