bored bored bored

How come in your title you spelled the term correctly "Bored" then in the opening post you wrote board... anyways Portal 2 imo.

i playing dark decent now its quite freaky lol and i got saint row 3 installed but not played. i must say tho i found assassins creed 1 the most boring repative ive every played but folks seem to love the rest are they good

Saints Row 3 is great get it played!

I also found assasins creed pretty boring, I was then told to play 2 its much better, and no still boring.

Train Simulator 2012, hear me out.

If you ever wanted a train set as a kid but never got one, you will love it, and if youre a grown man and dont want to reveal to your family you love playing with trains by filling the lounge with model tracks then you will love it.

Its got all the trains you could want, diesel locomotives, old steam trains and electric super duper fast trains. Theres a train for every occasion and mood.

Graphics are FINE, load times are LONG but with all the track detail you won't mind I promise you will just go and make a cup of tea come back and enjoy driving trains like a boss.

If youre bored of the usual run of the mill game genres why not give it a go. Its fun pottering around with your online train library, just dont get too hooked on buying dlc though...could prove costly.

Dont do this... i have it and its terrible. The only more boring thing than this is actually sitting on a train from Oxford to Reading.

Even de-railing trains is boring.

I managed to crash a German one at about 150Kmph and it was rubbish.

If you don't like sitting in a train then obviously the game is not meant for you.

If however you enjoy looking at trains, riding in trains and would like something pleasant to pass the time that doesn't demand a lot of time and effort then its a great game.

dead space 2 has been a game that a really enjoyed playing. i never played the first one but it doesnt take long to catch up on the story. also play late at night in the dark. its one game that really does make you jump out of your skin

Metro 2033, just started playing this after getting all Skyrim'd out. Its a cracking game.

Also, as said, Dead Space 1 & 2.

The Batman games are excellent

If you like your FPS with a little RPG try Mass Effect 2

RTS can be fun if you like military games (playing World in conflict and King arthur 1, myself atm both great games in diffrent settings)

If you don't like RPG's/MMO's your kinda left with build games after that (Cities XL etc.) or 'Sims'

/edit Also if your new to gaming there are some class games a year or two old you can pick up on offer or second hand, try out a few better than splashing out £40 to find you don't like the playstlye.

Minecraft - this is one of the most addictive retro games out there, build anything to your imagination. head on over the OC UK Minecraft server.

Mine craft, you will wonder where the hours have gone. You will also wonder why it is fun ...

Because you can open your mind to anything you want, it is fun nothing more relaxing than building your own place, it's something you will always come back to.

If you want an FPS which is a bit different, you can get Team Fortress 2 for free... A fairly unique type of FPS which is really great fun. If you are willing to put some effort into getting past the ultra noob phase, Starcraft 2 is imo the best RTS ever and is incredibly refined and still has me playing it after over a year (whilst every other RTS has had me bored within weeks or months at a push)
