Bored, Go back to WoW?

Get a life, WOW is the game for people that don't like games.

Nice hostile and hypocritical approach bro.
You're calling someone who asked whether he should go back to a game a no lifer over the internet on a pc games section of a forum. Look in the mirror please.

And different games appeal to different people, bear that in mind too.

I'd say.. try a few days on it with one of those trial things, if you don't like it don't start playing again.

As others have said, give it a try and see how you feel about it.

It has gone stale for a lot of us, but you yourself would be the best judge of that.

Everyone who isn't subscribed gets 7 days free don't they? I took the days and it got me hooked again - resubbed and I'm on it every day. Enjoying it a lot more than when Cata was first released.

I've been bored over the summer so gave a free trial a go after 3-4 years of not playing... man it's so bad compared to what it was.

Everything just seems so dumbed down, teleporting to dungeons wherever you are, whats that about? The sense of immersion isn't half what it was.

What ****ed me off most about it though was the members of a guild I joined kept spouting pre programmed "grats xxxx" every time I got one of those silly achievements. It couldn't have felt less sincere had they tried.

I did and the classes are crap, the clunky mechanics and AI are crap, the quests are highly confusing, there are tooooooo many instances and not enough direction.

Its boring.

I remember you stating it was good, you make quite a lot of u-turns and i disagree with your complaints towards it, maybe you are better off with WoW.

Unfortunatley the time to be in wow was vanilla and lost crusade. There are just so many worlds and zones now that world PvP is dead. The best time i've ever had was the ride up to Tauren Mill to actually do some spontanious PVP. I have never liked arena nor this zoned PVP, it defeats the point of an MMO. It's just Counter Strike dressed up in drag.

I've played wow since day 1, Coming back every time they try something new and release something else but they have still never recreated that "wow" moment for me. I can still remember starting my Night Elf and working my way up to a POPULATED Dalaran. Part of me also hates the community. They are all so addicted to the "bling" gear and the achievements that it feels like one big bloody checklist.

I will go back when the level cap gets raised to 90 and try out the zones. But to me the game has had a good run but it's just lost that magic.

Dont even get me started on professions.

I used to think LOTRO was good when i was playing it, but the more i played the more i started to dislike it.

If you can find a group of like minded people it's still a great game to play. I'm in a guild where there is a Hardcore 25 man raiding team, 2x 10 man social raiding team (1 or 2 days a week), a Battleground team and numerous alt lovers. So there's always something to do if you want. :)
