Why not try doing something very different to what you'd normally do? Try picking a game out of a genre that you've never really played, or perhaps go looking for smaller, less-heard-off "cult hit" type games. Take a break from what you'd normally do and you might find something you like even more.
And, as they say, a change is as good as a rest. You might find yourself longing for some good ol' FPS action again anyway.

Im the same with single player/non-online games. I got bored oblivion within about a week, brilliant game but i like having real people i can chat to while i play.
Only games that hold my interest are online ones where i have someone to compete against and with a good social aspect.

I have the same problem as the OP
No way around it really I try and do different things. Like someone mentioned before you miss it when it has gone.
The only thing I can recommend is taking a break and then hoping a decent game is around when you come back to it.
Alternatively retro is superb especially with the amount of free games now available!
