Its a great great film! Just make sure you watch the german version with english subs and not some dubbed version! The mood, atmosphere, emotions are all there even if (like me) you dont understand any german ;)

+1 however coming from bf3 it might drive you mad but 200 player servers are hilarious and I'm addicted to downing cav then bayoneting them before they can get their poncy butts up.

It's easily one of my favourite films and certainly one of the best WW2 flicks ever made. You can almost smell the U-boat, the atmosphere is incredible, it's such a brilliantly conveyed idea of a WW2 submarine and the people on board it. It's a film for manly men.

You could handle your sunday pretty well with the uncut version alone, it's 293 minutes long. *boing!*

ps +1 for Silent Hunter if you are looking for change.
 
Or get DCS A-10 if you have got a joystick. Now if that doesn't provide value for money I don't know what will. Silent Hunter 4 is great also just needs a bit of tweaking to shine but plenty of info out there on that.
