Also if you'd like to try something different from your usual diet of shooters then have a look at some RPG's The Witcher & Mass Effect series are very good.

Darks Souls Prepare To Die Edition is a must play.

Alan Wake IMO is also worth looking into, very nice cinematic game with decent story and gameplay.

If it's the former then may I suggest the BF2 mod Project Reality. Assuming you already have BF2 it won't cost you anything but the time to download it.

i have bf2 on steam would need to install it! are the servers still active?

Yeah, not like days of old, but when the new patch comes out they're expecting a big increase in players again.

I play about 2 hours a night & always can get in a nearly full server.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. I've been busy with work.

Out of the blue they've released another patch, not the expected v1.0 but rather a patch (0.98)that's tied up the minimods into the main game. It's 1.8gb :eek:
