Boring "Which head unit" thread

The head unit in the teg is a bit lame. I'm thinking about getting a new one. Spec me a nice unit that plays mp3s and maybe has an ipod connection (though not too bothered). Nothing hugly expensive but I also don't want something cheap and nasty.
While we are on the subject, how much are a reasonable set of door speakers? Nothing that will make my car fly with base or anything.

PIONEER-DEH-P7900UB - Thats what I have and I cant fault it tbh.

Also sorry, mean't to say: Something with brightness control for the display, nothing worse than being blinded on a dark road by your own head unit!

This does has brighness - my mrs complained about it last night so i have turned it down

I think it has auto dimmer on it too

I have an In-Phase IPS-920SD.
Love it purely because it's so easy to put files on and off SD card.
Quite powerful too, however I suppose its closer to the cheap and nasty end of the scale.
Had it for over a year, personally would buy one again without hesitation.
