Bosch dishwasher error codes

Hi all

My Bosch dishwasher has started to give me E15 or E24 error codes either before the unit starts washing, or during a cycle. Additionally, the power on/off button has stopped being able to turn the dishwasher off (although it tends to work to switch it back on again after pulling the plug, although sometimes it comes straight back on without the need to press the power button). Sometimes the dishwasher will complete a full cycle without any problems.

I believe the on/off button on the dishwasher is a soft switch, and combined with the apparently random error codes, I'm inclined to think the issue could be related to the actual control board for the machine.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Does anyone know how much it would likely be to repair something like this?

Many thanks

M.

E15 float switch in base.
E24 drain pump issue.

Probably need to swap the pump. Easy enough if it was like mine.

Since this is in GD: self destruct activated.

The pump itself seems to work fine; it successfully drains the machine. In fact, the pump is the first thing to operate when the wash cycle is started.

I haven't any personal experience of this problem, but something similar on my Bosch washing machine simply needed some gunk removing from the relevant part. The instructions were easily and freely available on interweb.

Mine gets this error code occasionally. Goes away if I clean the filters and drain hose and run a dishwasher cleaner through on hot cycle.

We had an issue with ours where it came with an error code E13.

Turned out that the heater (washer/tumble dryer) was faulty and wasn't earthed

Only ever happened when we used the tumble dryer (as it was rubbish) but the repair man said it was lucky we didn't blow a fuse..
