Was going to add to existing thread but but can see this is a new spin off series, back to Season 1 which continue on from Bosch main series.

Looks good, I enjoyed the original series, though it was a bit low stakes at times. Not sure I can take his daughter seriously as a rookie cop, but we shall see I guess! :)

There's something off with that trailer, think it's the focus on 'Money' Chandler - not sure.

I'll take more Bosch though, very enjoyable by the numbers series.

Was the thinking that too. From office assistant to going through Police Academy. It's reminds me of 24 when Jack's daughter Kim went from spoiled brat to computer hacker and then running CTU. :D

Sigh looking forward to this as Bosch was one of my favourite TV shows but that's going to be annoying going from Amazon Prime with no ads to having ads throughout whilst still paying for Prime.

I've been led to believe IMDBTV shows a single ad before the show/movie and that's the extent of it. Not ideal but won't be like ITV with commercial breaks.

The imdb app just received a recent update.
It cannot play multiple episodes of the same series in a row. It will just pick something random to watch after 1 episode.
You get 1 set of long adds directly after the credits and 1 set of long adds just before the final scenes and the end credits.
Depending on the length of the content your watching you also get add breaks during the show.
For a 30 minute show 1 add break is the norm. For a 90 min movie, expect 2-3.

The amount of content on IMDB has ramped up a lot in the last few weeks, but also so has the amount of adds they serve and also the length of the add breaks in total.

Thanks for the detailed explanation - this is another step towards folk obtaining content elsewhere sadly.

Do I need to have watched the final season of Bosch before this?
yes and no, while this is a more of a continuation than a spin off of Bosch Series. yes as the bosch series laid the ground work for this especially season 7 as it explain how and why he left lapd plus maddie decision to join lapd. the last episode of season 7 has a closing credit scene that ties into the this. but also no it been setup so that if you haven't seen bosch you can to watch it.

just to add as i didn't know but the pilot episode of bosch was filmed in the actual real lapd homicide division offices and had real lapd officer as background characters etc. after the pilot episode was done and fact it would be impractical to continue filming there as it was working office, they re-created the interior of the building from video, photos taken and design layout / floor plans.
