Bottom 3

As much as I would dearly love Norwich to stay up I think we will struggle big time; in the champ we played as way way more than a sum of our parts and the amount of points we got in the last 5mins+extra time was something absolutely stupid, 18 or the like. We won't get that luck in the prem.

Swansea and Wigan down with us, I reckon.

I think Manchester United and Arsenal will be in the bottom 3 this season. Simply because both managers know absolutely nothing in comparison to The Running Man and drunkenmaster.

Both of which, are utter plebs.

In danger: Wolves, no real investment and mcarthy struggles if Plan A doesn't work, has no clue beyond the obvious.

I beg to differ! Decent new CB, a GK to challenge for the No 1 spot, and signing O'Hara permanently have to have been on the top of our list of things to do this summer. With Kightly back after most of last season out, Fletcher and Doyle hopefully on form (and still with us in the case of Doyle), I think you'll see an improved wolves side this year. Even more so if we can strengthen the LB spot. Ok, so I'm a fan, but we have been in the league for 2 seasons now, I think we will find this one easier than both the last 2, and hopefully not need last day results to go our way!

As for me, in no order:

Blackburn or Swansea
Wigan
Norwich

I have a feeling that Swansea are going to massively overachieve next season. I also think QPR will just about scrape in. So...

Wolves
Norwich
Wigan

Maybe not in that order, but those 3.

Wolves
QPR
Swansea

No Wigan?

oh hai, its been good quiet few stress free weeks for me, going to make the most of this weekend

hopefully

Wigan (Small Horrible Club)
Swansea
QPR

7th season in EPL, not bad for a Small Horrible Club, might refer to Wigan as SHC from now on.

And you support who?

Season has not even started and the ***** are posting again.

It's hard to see Wigan staying up this time. I don't know a lot about the three promoted teams but at-least one of them will go down I think and if Blackburn sell Samba I think they'll go down. If not then possibly QPR, depends on whether Taarabt stays with them for the season and even still they could go down.

Might go down, might stay up, 7th season in Prem so have some luck staying hope. If Wigan dont sign anyone before window shuts its going to be tricky with the current sqaud to build on last season.

wigan
blackburn
qpr

qpr would be in with a chance of staying up if the board invested properly, but it seems a mess at the moment, and when warnock doesnt win the first 5 games they'll sack him.

wigan got lucky last season, sold n'zog not sure they have the ability to replace him.

blackburn struggled last season, not sure kean has what it takes to take them forward and if they lose samba they could have problems defensivly.

I agree that Blackburn will also be down there, weren't they bought out recently? i though they had loads of money?

last i heard there was a freeze on what they could do as they dealt with the bank.

I think this is the hardest to predict in a long time. I nearly always call at least 2 out of the 3, but I'll need to give it some thought before putting my neck on the line here.

Initial guess is Swansea, Wigan and QPR but not very happy with that selection.

Strangely I see it as easier than normal and would go with all 3 newcomers.

Although Blackburn and Wigan will struggle too.

Having said that, out of the 3 newcomers I think Norwich could surprise a few, they have an excellent manager.

Too many teams who are surviving in the prem on borrowed time to call it...

The 3 promoted teams are clearly in contention, but so are Blackburn, Wigan and probably Newcastle. It'll be awesome like last season though, down to the wire and some sup prise results.

Because of who's been promoted they're luck will hold out a bit longer. Only QPR imo are capable of scraping their way to survival. Wigan and Blackburn do have seriously **** squads now though

You think QPR might survive? I still can't get over them being very interested in Puncheon... (who just isn't prem quality what ever he thinks)

What ever happens there are 5 clear candidates (6 including a messy Newcastle) because they are all struggling to attract real prem quality players. Will be a good scrap though!

Only because of the manager they have in charge, the fact that Taarabt has stayed and both Wigan and Blackburn are about as average as you can get.

They'll either be relegated or finish 17th imo

Yeah Warnock is probably going to be the key factor, just hope he gets his priorities sorted with what his squad needs. Apparently he wants to trade us a pretty decent CB, Gorkss, for Punch which might not be the best move to stay up.

Same goes for Norwich in that respect as Lambert might be able to do something magic, the other contenders are going to look very average...

Watching Newcastke against Arsenal we won't pull up any trees but I think we'll have enough quality to stay clear of the relegation gmfight. Last season all over again basically.
