Ah what a program!! Agreed that the Live shows were the best though - they could let loose a little more! Managed to get to see a couple, could not of been a funnier night :D
Out of the series, I think the one where they try and make a Jeremy Beadle style home video for some quick cash was the best....."Here's a video....of me...accidentally......sewing my head to the.....curtains. When joke on joke I forgot to press record. Have a look at this blank tape and hilarity will prevail" (or something like that :D)
 
I used to love this series, though I guess it'll look at bit dated now...

"Was she crying?"
"No, quite the opposite"
"What?....she actually sucked tears back in through her eyes?"
 
Ringing BBC to complain:

I got Bottom series 1-3 for crimbo also! really is one of the best comedies I own.

my favorite scene is where Richie starts filming eddie :D.

Only decent episode.

"How about a lovely cup of tea?"
"How do you make tea if you havnt got any gas?"
"we have it cold?"
"yes we have it cold...................because..........we havent got any gas"
"Here you go, one lovely cup of streaming cold tea"
 
Bottom is about the only TV series (apart from OFAH) i can watch repeats of. The episode from the last series when they are on the big ferris wheel is simply brilliant.
