Close, but also wrong.

Each week there will be a new challenge, it could be a certain beer type, it could be a certain country or theme. You buy it, take a picture and enter it via email. The idea is to try and enter a beer no one else has or as few will pick. This way you gain Max points.

You've not read the main thread have you... :p

Scoring is like this:

Valid entry is worth 1 point (lowest score possible if you have a 3rd most possible choice onwards)

Enter the most popular beer = 1 point + valid entry = 2 points

Enter the second most popular beer choice = 2 points + valid entry = 3 points

Every entry after 2nd most pop. = 0 points + valid entry = 1 point

Enter a beer nobody else has = 3 points + valid entry = 4 points (max. score)

Nothing has been decided yet mate.

That's the idea of this thread, firstly get numbers of how many want or think they might want to play. Secondly how we're going to do it.

i liked the first comp when it was countries and we voted. you could then go one stage further and nominate a specific type or make of beer from that country, but have countries that have more than 3 beers!

and all the rules to be agreed before KICKOFF. saves the arguments.

When you say 'repeating rounds' do you mean within say the new mk.3 competition or previous rounds?

Good idea on Scrabble round lowest score :)

True they have been but what about the new people playing, do they not get a chance at it too :)

Besides some of the previous rounds have been quite... fun?

Having said that, if you guys want it completely new throughout, for sure we can look at it too.


EDIT: Oh and Marv remember, if everyone picks SOL it becomes the most popular and therefore less points (in NO WAY a dig either) so tactics come into play ;)
