Anyways, I haven't played Fable 2 but you might want to look at Fallout 3 GOTY which is really cheap now. Also, Fable 2 is on Amazon for £9 so whoever said that they couldn't find it for anywhere near a reasonable price needs to look harder. :)

i couldn't find fable 2 for a reasonable price whilst i was out around town. will order it online in a few days ready for next weekend.

Braid i don't want to buy as sods law dictates it will become available on psn+ if i do.
trials HD i have played the demo but cant seem to commit to buy it when i have trials 2 on pc. apart from the level editor i cant see what its bringing new to the game.
Fallout 3 i have on pc and ps3 and being a psn+ subscriber i got all the add-ons not long ago as part of the subscription. (still cant aim very well using pads.)
condemned you say, is it the same sort of style as alan wake but 1st person?
going to download the other XBLA demos mentioned in this thread so far during the week.

my god is this thing quiet. just been on my ps3 to see what has been added to GT5 over the last week and had to turn it off after half hour as the noise off the fans was so loud i thought the whole house was going wake up. strange its never bothered me before will have to give it a blast with some compressed air and get the hoover on it.

lastly does anyone know any quick tips i could use to try and get topspin 3 to work as it would mean a trip out my way to take it back. its not heavily scratched.
 
fable 2 bought for a fiver. not played it yet and by the looks of it i dont think its the kind of game i'd go for but going give it a fair go and hope to enjoy it. still not managed to get topsin3 back to the shop i got it from.

the bonus is you can get the GOTY of a lot of those for cheap (sub £20, sub £15 in some cases) and that gives you all the DLC!
 
wow what was i thinking with fable 2?
i went out and bought kinect a few days after my last post in this thread and that has taken my time up big time. far better than the wii and the playstation move for the games out on it so far.

i came across my fable 2 disc last week loaded it up and played it constantly from about 1pm all the way through the night till 6am (level 5 blacksmith anyone? lol) and everyday since. im hoping once i have completed it fable 3 is more of the same.

alan wake is still sitting in the box after 15 mins of playing time. bought trials hd and that recent poker game off of xbla and a 12 month gold sub for £24 offered through the dashboard :)
 
Fable that good then? Still on the edge about buying a 360 now that the 250gb ones are only £150. Still seems like a lot of money.

ah who am I kidding? I just spent £280 on headphones.

That gold sub sounds like a good deal considering I've been paying £5.99 a month for what seems like ages!
