After over 2 months of being without a car and agonising over what to buy that isnt another Skoda (The last 4 have been) I finally found the right car.

02 BMW 325ci sport has got a long list of extras (4k on top of the original 26k bill) including xenons which is like driving in near daylight.

paid 5k in the end which i though was a bit of a bargain, its just done over 100k, paint work nearly perfect just a few grazed alloys.

Coming from a Skoda which I think are well built, but this is another league, the engine purrs and its really quiet, made my other cars sound like a bag of bolts.

It does not feel raw fast like my remapped Vrs` but its a nice smooth acceleration with a lovely engine note. Went all over the peak district yesterday, cat and fiddle and snake pass and was loving it.

Had the 4 wheel alignment sorted today as the steering wheel was nowhere near straight and it perfect now

My left leg is hurting, I don't know if its the heavier clutch or just because I have not driven in ages.

Good choice, dont worry about the miles. These engines will do many many more! I always liked them in black, just a pain to keep clean!

I dont think there is an E46 in the country without a kerb on one of their wheels:D Want to refurbish mine at some point as they corrode to.

Waits for, "Should have bought a 330, same running costs"

Nice car from me :)

Not too sure why it was that cheap, however there was the same model 01 plate with 80k on the clock going for 6k at a dealer nearby, just a different spec. This seller wanted 5.5k for this but my mother just pulled out the 5k in cash gave it to him and basically said take it or leave it, lol.
It was his wifes car, they had 2 children and they wanted a 4x4 instead, I think she was afraid to drive it in all the recent snow etc so hadnt been used for a few weeks.

I did not really want a black car after having one a while ago that was a pain to keep clean, but when i saw it all polished up it did look nice.

I cant haggle to save my life, when selling cars previously I've usually just taken the first offer, because I'm really bad at it. Would be the worst contestant on Bargain Hunt
